Frequently asked questions

What is CPR?

  • CPR stands for cardiopulmonary resuscitation. It is a life-saving technique used to help circulate oxygen-rich blood to the heart, brain, and other vital organs in the event that the heart is unable to work properly. CPR involves cycles of chest compressions and rescue breaths and can significantly increase a person’s chances of survival during cardiac arrest.

What does AED stand for?

  • AED stands for automated external defibrillator. It is a life saving machine that applies an electrical current to a heart that is in arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat). These electrical currents briefly stop the heart in the attempt to restore a normal heartbeat. AEDs are not effective when there is no heartbeat as they do not restart a heart that has stopped beating.

How old does a child need to be to learn CPR?

  • Although there is no recommended age for a child to learn CPR, it is suggested that the child be old enough to provide proper techniques (such as hand placement, rhythm and depth control, and head-chin tilt) when performing CPR. Some research suggests that children are able to properly administer CPR by age 12.

Are 4 Chambers Health & Wellness vitamins and supplements FDA approved?

  • Most vitamins and dietary supplements are not required to undergo the FDA approval process; therefore, our products are not FDA approved. However, all of our products are manufactured and packaged in U.S.A. facilities that are both FDA registered and regulated. This means that although these products have not undergone the rigorous FDA approval process, the facilities must still comply with FDA regulations to ensure the products are safe, effective, and properly labeled.
